Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Launceston last week.
Reports have been received of an altercation and serious assault involving four people in Launceston on Saturday, October 21, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that two male victims, one in his 30s and one in his 40s, were assaulted at around 11.45pm on Exeter Street, Launceston.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Both individuals sustained knife wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment, but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
"A third man was uninjured in the incident.
"A 33-year-old man from Launceston has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and has been released on bail until Friday, January 19, pending further enquiries."
Detective Sergeant Alex Fisher added: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly those with mobile phone footage or dash cameras.
“I’d encourage anyone with any information which might assist our enquiries to please get in touch.”
