CORNWALL Council has increased the cost of garden waste recycling bags by nearly 300 per cent in the former North Cornwall, Carrick and Caradon areas, provoking the ire of residents and Cornwall Councillor for Flexbury and Poughill, Paula Dolphin.

The council has increased the price of the bags from 25p to 74p, as part of their 'harmonisation' policy across the county.
