THE volunteer-lead Bude Life Saving Club has announced that its beach patrols will get underway on Crooklets beach.
Widemouth and Summerleaze beaches are currently being monitored by RNLI lifeguards.
A spokesperson from the club said: “Our club members have been busy on Crooklets over the Easter period offering safety advice to members of the public wishing to enter the water.
“The lifeguard service is yet to start on Crooklets, with just Widemouth and Summerleaze being covered by RNLI Lifeguards.
“You’ll see our members offering advice on Crooklets and assisting lifeguards when they return in late May, with our patrols continuing on every weekend and bank holiday until October.”
