The community was brought together when Camelford Town Council held their annual Christmas party at the Clease Hall Camelford on Saturday, December 3.
More than 40 local residents gathered for a real festive treat.
The meal was prepared by Peggy and Lisa Ellison with some help from members of the Camelford Town Council, who worked hard to make sure the meal was served at quick pace. A delicious festive meal was served along with all the trimmings which was well received.
During the meal a festive treat was in store as members of the Camelford Primary School Choir came along and entertained the residents.
A spokesperson said: “What a wonderful sound the choir giving their rendition of many Christmas favourites along with one special song entitled “Cornwall My Home” and wow what a brilliant job total silence throughout a credit to the choir the residents applauded.”
Camelford Town Mayor Cllr Rob Rotchell thanked the Choir and added that song brought back so many memories when he use to sing in the choir where this was sung in Canada and beyond.
The afternoon was rounded off with everyone going home with some festive mince pies donated by Kirsty Ferguson.
