Emergency services were called to a late night crash in St Issey.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, paramedics and Devon and Cornwall Police were called to reports of a single-car collision on Trevance Road late at night on January 16.
Two people were injured and taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, although their injuries are not believed to be serious.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Two people were trapped in the car which ended up in a hedge. Both were extracted and taken to Treliske Hospital. The condition of both people was not believed to be serious. The vehicle was recovered by 1.40am.”
A Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service added: “Pumping appliances from Padstow and Wadebridge, the rescue tender from Bodmin, a light 4x4 appliance from Wadebridge and a wholetime officer from Truro was mobilised to this incident. Crews located a single vehicle road traffic collision. Two casualties were involved with one still inside the vehicle. Both occupants were left in the hands of SWASFT (ambulance service). Police also attended.”
