Local artist and ex-pupil at Marhamchurch CP, Abi Cogdell has been painting a mural at the entrance to the primary school outlining its values.

Marhamchurch’s headteacher, Mr Hoare, has had a ‘welcome vision’ for the school entrance planned for the last year which has now been brought to life over the last five weeks. Mr Hoare explained: “The tree has been designed as a welcome to our school where we believe that our local community allows us to blossom by feeding us with wisdom, knowledge and skills.

“We owe a massive thank you to Abi Cogdell, our amazing artist and ex-pupil for painting the tree and hope that everyone who visits will enjoy the finished mural.”
