FOUR crews were called following a fire in a Launceston restaurant this weekend.
At around 5.44am, on Sunday, July 28, crews were called following reports of a fire on the first floor of local restaurant, Kathmandu.
The Nepalese and Indian eatery was attended by crews from Launceston, Callington, Liskeard and Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service Holsworthy.
Firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the fire using hosereels. Members of the public were asked to stay away from the area, to allow firefighters time to deal with the incident.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue have been contacted for further comment.
