A wallaby is thought to be bouncing around the Holsworthy area after it was spotted in a garden at Sessacott, West Putford.

'Wanda', so named by the owner's children as she loves to wander, has been missing for more than a week, but appears to be enjoying her adventure.

Suzi Lowther snapped a picture of the marsupial at the end of her garden earlier today (February 21).

Suzi told the Post: "The owner got in contact after I posted on Facebook and we checked with the local vet if they knew anyone with a wallaby around here.

"It had bounced off by the time they got to us so I don't know if it is still loose."

She added: "It did get our alpacas into a frenzy!"

Wanda's owner Steve Pomeroy later confirmed she has been missing for a week and appears to be "enjoying her freedom too much".

Steve added: "She isn't captured yet! She ran off a week ago and hasn't moved more than one mile since.

"She's very elusive but not vicious."

Has anyone spotted Wanda the wallaby on her adventure?
