SEVERAL members of Bude Inner Wheel visited the Cornwall Air Ambulance HQ at Newquay recently to present them with a cheque for £1,750.

The money was raised during their charity lunch and other events, together with a cheque for £625 raised by one of the group’s members, Jane Duncan, who completed a swimming challenge in Bude Sea Pool.

Sue Cox on behalf of Bude Inner Wheel said: “We were fortunate to watch the air ambulance return from a call while we were there and we listened to a very informative talk on how the money raised is spent.”
