KILKHAMPTON Junior and Infant School has been given the go-ahead for a new single storey two classroom block with four toilets, two storerooms and a plant room.
The new facilities will replace a detached former nursery block which is being used as a classroom but has reached the end of its serviceable life. Due to the replacement building requiring the demolition of this classroom a temporary modular classroom will be used during the construction work.
The school currently caters for 134 pupils and the project will formalise the school’s published admission number of 20.
