A 26-year-old from Launceston has been sentenced to two years in prison after being found guilty of several counts of assault.
Oliver Haisman, 26, appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentencing after pleading guilty to a number of charges filed against him. These included intentional strangulation, three counts of assault, failure to provide a breath specimen, possession of 0.27 of cocaine and breach of a suspended sentence.
Following the case, Haisman was sentenced to two years in prison.
