IT was the perfect excuse to get the glad rags on and swing down to the Town Hall as Launceston’s Royal British Legion hosted its first Spring Ball.

People dressed in black tie and ball gowns waltzed through the doors to a beautifully decorated hall, ready for an evening of fun, dancing and incredible live musical performances.

There was a well stocked raffle as well as an excellent array of snacks and drinks to keep dancers going through the evening.

The chairman of the branch, John Harrison was full of praise: “I would like to thank everyone that attended the Spring Ball last night. I have to admit, it was a fantastic night. And finally, a massive well done and thank you to Immy Nutley for organising this event.”
