A SHOPPING arcade in Launceston has been listed for sale less than four months after being sold.

For many, The White Hart Arcade is a longstanding staple of the town’s retail industry, having been situated in Launceston for around 40 years.

Located in the middle of Launceston’s town centre and housing seven retail units, plus one privately owned site, providing everything from haircuts to carpets, and even acting as a home for the town’s Tourist Information Centre. Many residents and visitors will be familiar with the site and the businesses it houses.

However, the site was recently listed for sale, despite having only been sold at the end of March.

After having been initially sold by Kivells at auction in March for a sum of £200,000, the site has now been relisted by London-based estate agents, Blue Alpine, for a fixed price of £350,000.

According to the listing, the current rental income is valued at £37,850 per year.

The site’s listing also boasts of arcade’s ‘successful trading record with almost full occupancy since its creation some 40 years ago’, as well as having two tenants in occupation for more than ten years.
