A MAN has been taken to hospital after falling from an overbridge on the A30 at Launceston.

He is reported to be in a serious but non life threatening condition after the incident, on Tavistock Road in the town, which was attended to by Devon and Cornwall Police.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were notified yesterday (Monday, March 24) to reports of a concern of welfare of a man who had fallen from an overbridge on the A30, Launceston.

"Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was taken to hospital in a serious condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time."
