POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to locate wanted man Marc Bear from Launceston.

Bear, 38, is wanted in connection to a failure to attend court.

He had been released on court bail after being convicted of a number of serious sexual offences following a trial.

Bear is described as being a white male, around 5ft 7ins tall, with short brown hair and green eyes.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Active attempts are being carried out to locate Bear and we are appealing to the public to report any sightings of him.”

Residents who see Bear or knows of his whereabouts, they are asked not to approach him but to call police on 999 quoting log 498 of 22 November.
