A MAJOR police incident near a fuel station between Launceston and Lamerton that is currently ongoing.

An eye witness said: "Multiple police vehicles, helicopter in the air and police wearing tactical gear. Three additional police vehicles appear to be inbound.”

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson has confirmed: "Officers are currently in the area of Lamerton near Tavistock carrying out enquiries following a report of a robbery."
