STAFF and children of Marhamchurch Primary School have been busy filling shoe boxes with Christmas gifts to send to children in Bosnia and Eastern Europe. On Thursday, November 17, Julie Bluett from the charity Operation Christmas Child collected the 43 parcels and took them to the depot in Barnstaple. The school's student council has organised the collection and had to check that all of the packages were suitably wrapped in Christmas paper before being sent overseas.
