PUPILS aged 11 to 16-years-old from Whitstone Head School (WHS) have joined with students from 16 other special and specialist schools nationally to create a contemporary version of the Victorian mosaic frieze that spans the exterior of the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The aim was to ask young people to investigate the changes that have taken place in our values and identity since the hall and the frieze — which gives insights into Victorian values and aesthetics — was built, 140 years ago.
