AMONGST the more than 1,000 selected lots of antiques and works of art included in the two-day ‘Autumn Fine Art’ auction by Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood will be the Christopher Hawkings Collection of Curiosities on October 15 and 16.
A Swiss gilt and enamelled singing bird automaton music box by Charles Bruguier is one of the star lots in the auction with an estimate of £10,000 to £15,000. Also a collection of Italian micro mosaic including a fabulous snuff box are on offer.

The popular ‘Antiques Valuation Counter’ returns to Cornwall to give free identification and valuations on family treasures.
