IF YOU’VE ever thought about trying your hand at bowls, now’s your chance!
Bude Bowling Club is hosting three special ‘Come and Try It’ sessions in the next few weeks, offering a perfect opportunity for newcomers to discover the fun and friendly sport.
Whether you're curious to learn the game or just want to experience it in a relaxed, social environment, these sessions are ideal for all ages and abilities. he club welcomes anyone from complete beginners to those with a little experience, so don’t worry if you’ve never bowled before.
The Come and Try It sessions are scheduled on the following dates: Friday, April 11 (6pm to 8pm); Tuesday, April 15 (2pm to 4pm) and Saturday, April 26 (10am to 4pm).
All the necessary equipment will be provided, so you don’t need to bring anything – just yourself and a pair of comfortable shoes.
During each session, you’ll be guided by friendly club members who will show you the basics and help you get the most out of your experience.
In addition to the fun of learning a new sport, the club bar will be open throughout the sessions, offering refreshments and a chance to unwind with fellow participants after your game.
These sessions are open to everyone, so whether you’re looking to try something new, meet new people, or perhaps start a new hobby, bowls could be just what you’ve been looking for.
Bude Bowling Club is located at Budehaven Recreation Ground – opposite the Methodist Church and beside the tennis courts.
