PAM Hutley from Bodmin has been riding at St Leonard’s Equestrian Centre, Polson, for over 17 years, so it really is an end of an era now that she has decided to move to Herefordshire to be closer to her family.

Pam has always ridden at the same time, 2pm, on a Friday and has hardly missed any days. She is an extremely capable rider and rides the more challenging competition horses at the yard.

Andy Reeve, owner of the Equestrian Centre for over 30 years, has taught her over the years and is sad to see her leave.

He said: “Pam will be greatly missed as she rides the horses so well.

“She also has volunteered at many of the dressage events and horse trials held at the centre over the years and has become part of the furniture.”

Pam said: "I can honestly say riding at St Leonard’s has been a pleasure, lovely horses, nice people and great lessons from Andy which I will certainly miss!

"I am hoping to find somewhere up in Herefordshire but I am going to miss riding the super horses that Andy has, as the more advanced ones are not your typical riding school horses and for someone like me who has always ridden they make for really good lessons."
