ST MINVER remain in total control at the top of the Premier division after a 5-3 win over Biscovey — the fourth time the sides have met this season.

Corey Cleave scored a hat-trick for the hosts with further goals from Steve Wootton and Ryan Pooley.

Alex Woodcock scored a brace and Rory Barnicle were the Bisovey scorers.

North Petherwin had a very important 6-0 win over Pelynt as they look to fight off the drop to Division One.

Joe Reeve scored a brace, with one each for Jim Werren, Adam Smith and Josh Sanders, as well as a first ever goal for left back John Wallace.

In Division One, Callington remain top after a 7-0 win over strugglers Premier Sixes, and LC Phoenix remain second after a walkover victory over bottom-side St Newlyn East who couldn’t raise a side.

Boscastle hit North Hill’s promotion hopes in Division Two with a 1-0 win. Sam Haddy scored the goal early in the first half.

Second placed Holywell/Cubert Athletic dropped a couple of points after a 1-1 draw with Lifton. Simon Holmes traded a goal with Cameron Heard.

Godolphin edged Stoke Climsland closer to the drop, picking up three crucial points in a 5-2 win aiding their own relegation fight.

Kieran Ryall scored both of the visitors goals.

In Division Three, Mevagissey dropped home points from a 1-1 draw with St Minver Reserves. The game also featured two dismissals and eight cautions.
