HOLSWORTHY Golf club held its annual prizegiving evening after the Men’s AGM.

The outgoing captain, Mike Richmond presented the prizes with the assistance of the new captain, Iain Lorraine.

Ian and Sue Thompson won the Nantroy Salvers; Nigel Rayer the First Timers Trophy; Rob Blaney and Ely Walmsley won the Mixed Foursomes.

Mike Richmond won the Founders Trophy; Gary Chard the Dickenson Trophy; Jeremy Horwood the Jubilee Cup; Mark Bellew and Iain Lorraine the Men’s Foursomes.

Mike Smith won the Spiller Trophy; Andrew and Carole Baker the Gleneagles Trophy; Richard Greenhalgh and Pauline Bezzant the Greenkeepers Tankard.

Den Cook was presented with the Presidents Club; Bob Carmichael won the Stewards Tankard; Phil Heal and Jeremy Horwood the Par Cup.

R Smith and Mike Daniel won the Old Nick; Mike Smith the Saunders Cup; Jeremy Horwood and Phil Heal the Tamar Cup.

Andy Crossland won the Captains Challenge Cup; Steve and Jenny Morrall the Betty Dunstan Trophy; Gerry and Carole Mason the Kellaway Trophy; Gary Chard, the Coombe Cup; Ian French the Clegg Cup; Andrew Baker the Kingdom Cup.

Paddy Ford won the Pyworthy Scratch Cup; Ian Moore the Club Championship (Handicap); Shamus Martin Club Championship (Scratch); Angela Parish the Past Captain’s Trophy; S Taylor the President’s Shield and Rob Metherell won the Captain’s Charity Trophy.

Finally, Mike Richmond was awarded the Captain’s Merit Shield to Mike Daniel in recognition of all the time and effort he has put in running the North Devon League team.
