STRATTON Young Farmers' Club presented two cheques in support of local charities on Wednesday, October 5. The beneficiaries —Cots for Tots and Cornwall Down Syndrome Support Group (CDSSG) — were given £500 each. Dan and Kyla Cock of Whitstone Stores received the cheque for Cots for Tots and David Green for CDSSG. The money was raised throughout the year with the YFC putting on a successful bingo evening and a foam party being held. The foam party attracted over 400 people and helped the club raise a substantial amount for the charities.
