MORE than 300 homes have been left without power in North Cornwall and West Devon as Storm Ciarán continues to wreak havoc across the South West.
Multiple power outages have been reported across Cornwall, with thousands of homes in West Cornwall currently the worst hit.
However, North Cornwall and West Devon haven’t avoided the impact of the storm, with power outages set to last until this evening or possibly as far as tomorrow morning.
The National Grid has said that it is working to restore power as soon as possible, telling customers: “Our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.”
At present, it is reported there is 87 homes without power in Lifton, 73 homes in the St Issey area, 48 homes in Camelford, 43 homes in Tintagel, 41 homes in Polzeath and 23 homes in Bodmin.
