LAUNCESTON have named an unchanged team from last Saturday’s hammering of Weston-super-Mare for tomorrow’s trip to Lydney (3pm).
The All Blacks scored nine tries last week to return to winning ways following defeats to Devonport Services and Brixham, and to keep that going will have to end the Forest of Dean club’s unbeaten home record.
Of their 11 outings, only four have been at Regentsholme where they have seen off Ivybridge, Matson, St Austell and Brixham.
The Severnsiders currently sit seventh in the table and will hope to keep improving as the season goes on.
When the two sides last met in Gloucestershire in March, Launceston emerged victorious, while the Cornishmen also won the first fixture of the season between the two in September (36-26).
Eight of Launceston’s nine tries were scored by their backs against Weston-super-Mare, including a brace apiece for wingers Dan Pearce and Ollie Bebbington.
With fly-half Glenn Coles unavailable and lock Dan Goldsmith injured, the matchday 18 is the same as Leion Cole and George Bone keep their places after returning last Saturday.
Launceston have been excellent on the road this season, emerging victorious in four of their six outings, but will need to be at their best to head back down the M5 with reward.
Elsewhere around the club on Saturday, Launceston Castles will look to return to winning ways in Counties Cornwall Three after losing narrowly at Camborne Crusaders last weekend.
They welcome a St Austell Thirds outfit to Polson Bridge (2.30pm) who won the reverse fixture at Tregorrick Park back in September.
However Launceston are set to be boosted by the return of Archie Dinnis who has been at university and Pete Bebbington who is back from travelling.
